Instead of the normal voice over introduction or a host speaking, the ATP did things differently with Roger Federer and Andy Murray having a "normal" chat while strolling the Dubai beach.

"I thought we could have a little warmup match together," said Federer, with a cheeky smile.

Federer and Murray play beach tennis in Dubai

Federer walked away with the win.

The sand was so smooth that they were able to bounce the ball, which is not how official beach tennis is played. Still, all anyone cares about is that these two could face off for the first time in 2017 next week (in the semifinals, potentially).

Federer is a seven-time Dubai champion, while Murray is seeking his first title. While these two are in the Middle East, world No. 2 Novak Djokovic accepted a last-minute wildcard into Acapulco.
