Racquet smashes are like hockey fights; bad for everyone involved, but fun to watch. In this case, the normally calm Kei Nishikori unleashed his rage during the Rio Open after dropping the first set to Thomaz Bellucci in the second round.

Despite not being physically imposing as some of the most notorious racquet smashers, the world No. 5 sent his racquet flying.

Nishikori ended up being losing 6-4, 6-3—a major upset considering he was the No. 1 seed.
