Ever since 19-year-old Naomi Osaka opened a Twitter account last September, the world has been captivated.

Her tweets know no bounds, including thoughts like random fluffy dogs, her hopes of making friends on tour, fans asking for gear without knowing her name and gushing over her favorite bands.

It's safe to say, Osaka has made her presence known on the Internet in a short period of time.

But now Osaka is dishing on podcasts too, discussing her worst day ever with the WTA Insider’s Courtney Nguyen in Dubai. If you ask the teen yourself though, she’ll admit she has a lot of awkward days.

First, Osaka recently played an exhibition that also included compatriot Taro Daniel, who is a 24-year-old currently ranked just outside of the Top 100. Osaka didn’t actually speak to him at the event, but shot him a tweet later on, and she did not enjoy waiting to see if he would follow her back.

“We didn’t talk at all,” Osaka said. “Literally we just did like high fives and then never talked... He responded and I was like ‘What do I do?’”

While Taro did follow her back, the suffering for Osaka didn't end there.

That's not been the only awkward moment for Osaka recently.

Earlier this month, the Japanese Fed Cup team member pushed herself to stand up during the Fed Cup dinner speeches prior to her squad’s matches.

“Now this is my moment to be outgoing,” the Fed Cup rookie said. "Literally everyone was staring at me and I really wanted to sit back down... I made the worst speech ever."

While Osaka was embarrassed by her speaking performance, it’s safe to say that the normally-reserved teenager does a fine job sharing her personality with fans on social media.

“It’s so bad,” Osaka told Nguyen about her Twitter account (she can blame her agent, who told her to get online).

But the world loves it, even if she's going to apologize for it.
