World No. 4-ranked Milos Raonic has proven over the past year that it may be less of a question of if he will win a Grand Slam, but when. He is certainly hanging out with the right people as he continues to strive for his first major. The 26-year-old spent his Sunday with golf legend Jack Nicklaus ahead of his first tournament since the Australian Open starting in Delray Beach.

“We played some tennis together and he gave me many great golf tips,” Raonic wrote in a post on Instagram. “It was one of the most iconic encounters I have ever had with an athlete.”

Nicklaus is widely regarded as the greatest golfer ever, having won 18 major championships during his career. So if Raonic needed any inspiration for this week’s tournament in Florida, he certainly got it in spending a day with “The Golden Bear.”

It is the first time that Raonic is playing the ATP World Tour 250 event in Delray Beach, having failed to make the cutoff back in 2010. He's the highest ranked player to ever feature in the draw, and while he hasn't played in Delray before, he has enjoyed plenty of success in the United States.

The big-serving Canadian has won four of his eight tour titles America, and will be the heavy favorite to lift another trophy this week. He's one of only two players in the Top 20 in the draw, with the other being No. 20-ranked Ivo Karlovic.

Raonic will play his opening round on Tuesday against American qualifier Tim Smyczek, who took out Raonic’s compatriot, Vasek Pospisil, in the final round of qualifying.
