What happens in Hawaii evidently won’t stay in Hawaii after this weekend for the United States Fed Cup team. CoCo Vandeweghe, Bethanie Mattek-Sands, Shelby Rogers, Alison Riske and practice partner Kayla Day will be reporting for duty on TennisWatch, the quintet’s new television show.

OK, so maybe the group won’t actually earn new fame as actresses, but it is safe to say that they've been having fun during the leadup to the United States’ opening round tie against Germany in Maui.

As Rogers, who is making her Fed Cup debut, said, Hawaii may not need lifeguards on its beaches this weekend with tennis players ready for action.

The BayWatch series last aired over 15 years ago and the big screen film starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson won’t be out until May. So for now, the five Americans are on watch.

Who is the most ready? Rogers made her argument with a modified Fresh Prince of Bel Air rap in place of the traditional rookie speech.

The United States and Germany last played in the Fed Cup Play-offs back in 2011, with the Germans sweeping past the Americans 5-0. Overall though, the Americans hold a 8-5 lead in career head-to-head action.
