Both Eugenie Bouchard and her date-to-be University of Missouri student John Goehrke are lapping up the attention after the Patriots come-from-behind win earned Goehrke a date.

If you don't recall how Goehrke has found himself in this unusual position, get caught up quickly. During the Super Bowl, Bouchard was overly confident in the Atlanta Falcons, and agreed to go on a date with Goehrke over Twitter if the New England Patriots were to somehow win.

Since then, Goehrke landed a story in the The Kansas City Star, and Bouchard went on the air with TSN to talk dating plans.

The 22-year-old is planning on going above and beyond for her fan, saying she'll fly him out to a tournament (if it works with his school schedule, of course).

"It’s fun and I’m going to follow through with it, because I want to honor my word," Bouchard said on TSN. "It’s just fun to have interactions like that with your fans. Like I said, I was so confident, but I think I was too confident. I just tempted fate a little bit too much. Yeah, here is my punishment."

The 20-year-old Goehrke has spring break coming up in March so who knows, he may have just earned himself a trip to Miami.

He'll be feeling some pressure though, as Bouchard expects him to take over from there.

"You know what?" Bouchard said. "I’ll fly him out, but besides that he has to be the gentleman and organize a fun date night."
