Daria Gavrilova was the first to take part in the 2017 WTA Net Dash Challenge, completing it in 4.90 seconds. The new challenge, which is essentially tricking players into doing more fitness, tests the speed and agility of players sprinting to the net and back.

Gavrilova, also known as Dasha, was the most logical choice to complete the challenge first. Fans can stay tuned throughout the year to see if anyone can top her speedy time. So far, Elena Vesnina has failed to beat it.
