The International Tennis Hall of Fame has announced its newest inductees for 2017, highlighted by former No. 1s Kim Clijsters and Andy Roddick.

Roddick, who like Clijsters ended his career at the US Open five years ago, was welcomed by an esteemed collection of tennis legends in a special ceremony at the 2017 Australian Open.

The class of 2017 also includes wheelchair tennis player Monique Kalkman-van den Bosch, tennis historian and journalist Steve Flink and the late instructor Vic Braden.

Roddick won 32 ATP singles titles during his career, including five ATP Masters 1000 single titles and the 2003 US Open. The former No. 1 was a four-time semifinalist at the Australian Open and a runner-up at Wimbledon. Not only is he the last American male to win a major, he was also part of the last U.S. Davis Cup team to win the title back in 2007.

Clijsters was a Belgian powerhouse in women's tennis for years, even coming back successfully after having her first child. She claimed 41 WTA singles titles, including four Grand Slams (one Australian Open and three US Open's). The former No. 1 was also a member of the winning Belgium Fed Cup team in 2001.
