Serena Williams has been asked a lot of questions in her long, long career—some good, some bad, some funny, some sad. You name it, she's answered it. But at the Australian Open after beating Nicole Gibbs to advance to the fourth round, she was put on the spot with a trickier question and performed under pressure.

"... Kind of a silly question," the reporter said. "But we’re asking if you could get a selfie photo with anyone outside of your family, outside of tennis, outside of your loved ones, who would that be?"

"Can I choose you?" Williams said. "OK, you owe me."

There is no way the reporter saw that coming. Cue a photo-op, that wasn't even technically a selfie, and a giddy hug.

Williams will hopefully have time for more amusing press moments after she faces Barbora Strycova for a spot in the quarterfinals.
