On Monday in Melbourne, Stan Wawrinka barely survived his first-round encounter with Martin Klizan, 4-6, 6-4, 7-5, 4-6, 6-4. He fought back after being down a break in the fifth, and added insult to injury (or further injury to injury) by nailing a forehand sitter right at a defenseless Klizan.
