There are tournaments, there are team competitions, and then there’s the 2017 edition of the long-running Hopman Cup, which can best be summed up in one word:

Or in layman’s terms, simply outrageous.

On-court and off, the players at the co-ed event—as well as the fans—have been having more fun than you’d find at your regular tour stop. It’s been the perfect segue from offseason to competition mode with one elder statesman in particular seemingly in the middle of it all.
