"God, it's hot," Roger Federer, quickly removing his on-brand cap and tossing it to the ground beside a tennis court in Dubai.

After sharing his latest practice session on Periscope, Federer did what came naturally to him. He fielded a litany of questions from his captive audience. The newly minted GQ's Most Stylish Man of 2016 took as many queries as he could from more than 174,000 viewers of the clip,

Asked about the fashionable GQ designation, Federer laughed and, perhaps self-consciously, re-donned his metallic, RF-monogrammed cap.

"A bit more pressure now, what to wear. Shall I wear a cap?" he said. "Which color shall I wear? What shoes shall I wear? What shall I be doing? I don't know yet."

He also spoke to his best and worst on-court looks over the years. "All black at night at the U.S. Open, tuxedo look. I thought that was kind of epic." As for his more lackluster kits? "I've had a few bad ones."

A bit later, when asked to size up another player's style choice, Federer approved of compatriot Stan Wawrinka's so-called pajama-pants look from the 2015 French Open: "Yeah, why not? That was fun."

Beckoned to tend to his technique on one groundstroke wing, Federer got subtly funny: "I'll try to fix my backhand, of course. I've been trying to fix that thing for 25 years, so I'll keep trying."

One adamant Periscope viewer finally broke through with a quirky query as to whether Fed would win in an arm-wrestling duel with Rafael Nadal.

"Are you serious?" he responded, nearly chortling. "No chance. My arms are so small."

Refreshingly self-aware, Federer extrapolated later, when asked if he could defeat Novak Djokovic in the same contest: "I honestly don't think I would beat anybody. Whoever I've arm-wrestled I've lost against. If I'm good at anything, it's maybe rock-paper-scissors."

Elsewhere in the 24-minute Q&A, Federer acknowledges his feelings about horseback riding ("scared"), despite having ridden on a camel in the desert outside Dubai one day prior, and speaks to his musical upbringing, in which he experimented with playing the wooden flute and piano.

He also touched on topics ranging from current movies ("I've never seen any Star Wars film; don't hate me," delivered with a grimace) to future autobiography plans ("Maybe never, maybe soon. No, no plans there.").

Among the questions that Federer either didn't see or let go unanswered included the likes of "Can I meet you in church?", "Do you even lift?", "Have you ever thrown a racquet over a fence?", "Do you like UFC?", "Can you do a back flip?", "Will you grow your hair again for us?" and "If Rafa's hair transplant goes well, would you like to try it?"

Call it the fan's right to know. And then call it Federer's right of refusal. Even so, he relishes his phalanx of fans, and committed to playing in the tournament (and seeing said fans) next season in Indian Wells, California; Halle, Germany; and elsewhere. So here's to the next #RFLive AMA, likely coming even before the 2017 Australian Open commences. Federer is set to play in the Hopman Cup starting on January 1.
