Gael Monfils is enjoying his offseason after finishing the year at a year-end best ranking of No. 7. He's enjoying himself so much that he's expanding his tennis practice to include shooting makeshift hoops and scoring soccer goals (to the soundtrack of the talented Rihanna).

Can Monfils shoot a tennis ball into a garbage can? Of course. But that's way too easy. He hits nothing but rim from across the court, both lengthwise, crosswise and even backwards. He also scores while seated in an umpire's chair (and even when the "hoop" is in the chair).

Can he make four in a row? Yes, yes he can.

Monfils shows off swag in tennis ball trick shots

While you could probably replicate these trick shots (except maybe the one where he's aiming from outside the court), it's the swag the Frenchman brings to the clip that isn't as easy to imitate.

The most successful shots are followed by celebratory dance moves from the 30-year-old.

Monfils, always the entertainer, will be looking to continue his strong 2016 play, both on and off the court, in the new year.
