Hot Shot: Del Potro hits lob tweener against Cilic

The Argentinian got the stadium on their feet with this tweener.

Everyone wants to see a tweener and while some players are known for them, like Roger Federer and Gael Monfils, the shot is not often pulled off successfully, and is almost never a lob. Juan Martin Del Potro showed us how the shot is supposed to be done by using it to launch a lob over Marin Cilic during their critical Davis Cup marathon rubber on Sunday.

The stadium got to their feet for a standing ovation, rightfully so.

The Argentine would turn the match around after going down two sets to love, pushing the final into a deciding rubber. Federico Delbonis then clinched the first-ever title for Argentina with a straight sets win over Ivo Karlovic.
