Simona Halep remained consistent this year, picking up titles in Madrid, Bucharest and Montreal. The 2014 French Open finalist had her best Slam results at Wimbledon and the US Open, where she made it to the quarterfinals. Halep qualified for the WTA Finals for the third straight year, but failed to make it past the group stage.
