Top stars glam it up ahead of WTA Finals

While Svetlana Kuznetsova battled to win the Kremlin Open for the last spot in the WTA Finals, the rest of the women's Top 8 arrived in Singapore for a night of celebration and anticipation.

The group dressed in their best for the Official Singles Draw Ceremony as they strutted down the purple carpet.

Both world No.1 Angelique Kerber and Garbine Muguruza showed off their black and white dresses before the event.

While Dominka Cibulkova was understandably in love with her look.

Kerber caught a group photo with the entire gang, including Johanna Konta, who would end up being pushed out of the tournament when Kuznetsova won Moscow, clearly did not let the circumstances ruin her night out (and took home the prize for WTA Most Improved Player of the year).

The ceremony was a festive night as awards were also handed out for Comeback Player of the Year and WTA Player of the Year, won by Cibulkova and Kerber, respectively.

The WTA Finals begins Sunday with Simona Halep facing Madison Keys and Kerber taking on Cibulkova.
