So, how was your Friday night?

It might have been hard to top the one had by Serena Williams. The 35-year-old appeared onstage during "Sorry" in Beyoncé's final Formation Tour show in New Jersey. The world No. 2 gave fans a hint of what was to come.

And then a few hours later, she showed up dancing in front of a packed crowd at MetLife Stadium.

And the throne was back.

The 22-time Grand Slam champion has been on plenty of big stages in her life, but this had to be one of the biggest.

Of course, the crowd went wild, getting to see two queens for the price of one.

Her outfit was also a little different than her usual Nike attire.

Williams was a natural dance partner for the singer, having appeared in the superstar’s "Lemonade” visual album earlier this year. The two are also friends, with Williams attended Beyonce's birthday earlier this month and Beyoné and Jay Z sitting in her court side box during the US Open.

Other special guests helping close out the Formation Tour included Beyoncé's husband Jay Z and Kendrick Lamer. Not bad company to be in, and not a bad way to start your weekend.
