Coric shows off shadow strokes just after surgery

The teenager underwent right knee surgery.

Borna Coric is already ready to get back to playing tennis, sort of. The Croatian underwent knee surgery after first experiencing problems at the US Open (when he was force to retire in first set against Feliciano Lopez in the first round).

The 19-year-old played in Croatia's Davis Cup semifinal 3-2 win over France, falling to Richard Gasquet in straight sets. His Davis Cup final chances are in jeopardy but he hasn't been ruled out quite yet. At No. 42, Coric is the third-ranked Croatia behind Marin Cilic and Ivo Karlovic.

The final is set for November 25-27 against Argentina in Zagreb.
