Novak Djokovic grew up playing tennis and eating pizza, and now he's reliving his glory days in New York on yet another day off.

His family owned a pizza shop in Serbia since he was very young. Of course, the world No. 1 famously switched to a gluten-free diet years ago, and since then his parents have also made the switch, opening the Novak Cafe & Restaurant in Belgrade (serving gluten-free meals, of course).

The US Open top seed has had a bizarre trip to the fourth round, completing just one match after one opponent withdrew before the match commenced (Jiri Veseley) and another retired after 31 minutes of play (Mikhail Youzhny).

At least Djokovic is keeping sharp by seeing the racquet in the pizza paddle.
