The American teamed up with Neal Skupski in the men's doubles set to win it 5-4. The 33-year-old proved that—despite retiring four years ago—he can still blast his signature aces and rip booming forehands (even on match point):

Singles proved tougher for the 2003 US Open champion, as he fell to Stephane Robert, 5-3. New York would end up losing 22-13 to Washington.
