Fourhand is the Daily Spin's occasional roundup of various hits and misses on tour.

QUEENS UNITE  Serena Williams didn't give Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, much to look at in her 48-minute belittling of Elena Vesnina, the quickest Wimbledon women's semifinal match since 1999. She did share a snap with her afterward, however, and Williams' mother, Oracene Price, also met the princess. (Kate's sister, tennis-loving Pippa Middleton, has attended matches this weekend as well.)

THE GREATEST  Serena probably felt feisty after her brief take down of a first-time major semifinalist, offering a great retort later when speaking to the press. She doesn't intend to be one of the greatest female athletes of all time, but one of the greatest athletes of all time. Full stop.

WEDDING BELLES  Dominika Cibulkova will have a wedding as planned on Saturday, ousted from Wimbledon by Vesnina, but Serena herself, due to another successful showing at the Championships, is reportedly missing out on bridesmaid's duties in pal Ciara's wedding in the English countryside.

BUMMING AROUND  Nicole Willett, wife of pro golfer and 2016 Masters champ Danny Willett, decided to let her husband have it—in hilarious fashion—when an image of his hand behind her posterior surfaced. They certainly made the most of their Wimbledon attendance.

NEWS OF THE WEIRD  There's nothing quite like being hit in the back of the head and suffering loosened dentures. No fan should have to put up with that.

BONUS  One Maria Sharapova decided to be not far from the happenings at the All England Club this year, though she's stuck in the midst of a (so far) two-year ban over her use of meldonium.
