Federer, Haas play tennis on Stuttgart rooftop

Roger Federer is back this week, and he’s better (or higher) than ever. In Stuttgart, the world No. 3 went up to the roof of the tallest residential downtown building with Germany's own pride and joy Tommy Haas:

The building, which also serves as a hotel, embraced its newest role as mini-tennis court Cloud No. 7:

Federer has been out for weeks with a back injury, but his delicate touch still seems to be firmly intact:

He even tossed in a tweener for good measure (shout out to the GoPro strapped to Haas' chest for such impeccable footage):

Federer will play his opening round of the ATP 250 event against teenager Taylor Fritz (who is riding his own high after getting engaged in Paris).

Haas has been dealing with injuries of his own, including undergoing foot surgery in April. Luckily he was fit enough to be impressed by the experience:

The 38-year-old was recently named the new tournament director of Indian Wells (pending approval from the ATP and WTA).
