Serena Williams' Yorkshire Terrier, Chip, is no stranger to being an integral part of her team, and the world No. 1 is vocal about her love for her pooches.

But this might be taking it a tad too far.

In her Snapchat posts on Wednesday, the American chronicled her experience of tasting Chip's salmon and rice dinner from her hotel's doggy menu. (Side note: That's a thing?!)

Get a close look at those prices. Eighteen EUROS for a bowl of dog food seems outrageous, even for someone on the Forbes’ highest-paid athletes list. (You've got to admit that it looks pretty good.)

"Before you judge me, look at it…" Williams says in the video. "I mean, come on. It looks good. I think it looks good ... Let's fast forward to two hours. I just ran to the toilet. I thought I was going to pass out."

Williams had a match on Thursday against Christina McHale, and despite making herself feel sick after just one spoonful of doggy delicacies, she got the win, 7-6 (7), 6-1, to reach the quarterfinals.

Ironically enough, Williams pulled out of Madrid last week due to illness. No one is in any position to tell a 21-time Grand Slam champion what to do, but refraining from using kibble as mid-tournament fuel sounds like a good idea.
