Everyone is used to seeing Serena Williams featured in magazines, but no one is used to seeing her body Photoshopped, which is what seems to have happened to her latest photo in PEOPLE magazine.

The controversial photo is actually from April 2016 World’s Most Beautiful issue, but that version in print is in color and appears less edited than the photo Williams posted. The 34-year-old's fans were quick to call her out, and the same day the first photo was swapped for one that appears less edited:

Photoshopping is nothing new in the magazine industry, but athletes are usually spared the harshest edits. Williams has been very vocal about embracing her body shape. On Good Morning America last year she said, "It's me, and I love me. I've learned to love me. I've been like this my whole life and I embrace me. I love how I look. I am a full woman and I'm strong, and I'm powerful, and I'm beautiful at the same time."

It's best for everyone to lay down the editing tools and let Williams' body do what it does best: win Grand Slams.
